We provide individualized, client-centered therapy to meet a range of client goals and needs. Our therapists are trauma-informed, and trained in evidence-based therapies and clinical specializations. We are sensitive to and inclusive of: diversity, and are LGBTQIA+ and 2S allied & affirming providers.

In person appointments in Ottawa, ON Our office is accessible for individuals with disabilities and/or mobility aids.

Main doors locked after 5PM and on weekends: When you arrive for your in-office appointment, the main doors of the building may be locked during evenings and weekends. Your therapist will greet you and let you in just prior to your appointment time.

Online Booking: New and returning clients are welcome to book any preferred session(s) available in our therapist’s calendars online

Pre-booking appointments: We recommend scheduling your preferred days and times in advance to ensure we have availability to meet with you on a consistent basis, which helps build therapeutic rapport and client progress

Julie-Anne is a Perinatal Mental Health Specialist, and has over 25 years of experience supporting families through the perinatal period (pregnancy, birth, postpartum). A trained and compassionate therapist, Julie-Anne also works with clients (ages 10+) through grief, loss, trauma, depression, anxiety, and self esteem. Julie-Anne offers virtual care to clients in Ottawa and across Ontario and is an NIHB-approved provider.

Suzie specializes in working with trauma, PTSD, and addiction, having extensive training and clinical experience in these areas. She is also passionate about supporting first responders, and assisting clients with clients through grief, managing stress, and personal development.

Suzie is trained in EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Attachment-Based Trauma Therapy, and parts-work therapies.

With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, Suzie has worked with a diversity of clients, offering non-judgmental and compassionate support for a range of client concerns and goals.

Suzie also offers a wealth of tools, strategies and resources that she is happy to share with clients in a collaborative, client-centered fashion.

Suzie is a proud ally of the 2SLGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities.

Suzie joined CCS in 2022 and is the Clinical Manager of CCS Ottawa.


WORKPLACE MENTAL HEALTH

Suzie has special interest in helping organizations create psychologically safe workplaces, is knowledgeable about burnout prevention and management, and is a Certified Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Facilitator. Suzie is an engaging public speaker and professional workshop facilitator, having honed her teaching skills as a College Professor for many years. Suzie has also worked and volunteered in leadership roles.
